A Colorful Summer Sand Art Adventure
This summer, from June through August📅, the Museum of Senses invites visitors of all ages to take part in the Summer Sand Art Workshop-an engaging and creative activity designed to spark imagination and inspire artistic expression. Hosted in our unique 2D Café, the workshop offers a hands-on sensory experience where children, families, and individual visitors can create vibrant sand art masterpieces using colorful sand and specially designed adhesive templates. Each participant gets to take home their personalized creation, making it a memorable keepsake from their Museum of Senses adventure.
A Creative Activity for All Ages
Blending creativity, play, and relaxation, this workshop offers an engaging sensory experience that can be enjoyed by both children and adults. Designed to be fun, accessible, and easy to follow, it encourages participants to explore their artistic side while creating something unique. Ideal for organized groups of 10–15 participants, the activity also serves as a perfect addition to an educational visit to the museum, combining hands-on learning with creativity and sensory discovery.
How It Works
Each participant receives a specially designed template and all the materials needed to create their own sand art masterpiece. By following the simple step-by-step instructions provided at the activity tables, visitors gradually apply layers of colored sand to bring their design to life. Once completed, the artwork is sealed with a protective transparent film, allowing participants to safely take home their unique creation as a lasting reminder of their Museum of Senses experience.
